The former Liverpool manager left the Premier League as a joke figure, and continues to be mocked on social media, but you certainly cannot argue with his record north of the border with Celtic- still yet to lose a domestic game with the Bhoys, winning all three trophies on offer last season.
Rodgers has guided the Scottish champions through to the Champions League group stages twice and sealed the club’s first win in Europe’s elite competition in nearly four years last week against Anderlecht, raising the club’s hopes of advancing through to the Europa League knock-out stages.
