West Ham’s fortunate 1-0 victory over Swansea City at the weekend has probably given Hammers boss Slaven Bilic another few weeks of safety but it’s clear his exit from the London Stadium is inevitable, as it has been since the end of last season.
The club decided to keep faith with Bilic throughout the summer and at the end of the transfer window, when West Ham had started their campaign with a woeful run of form, but two wins and a draw from seven matches is hardly a decent return.
There’s certainly an argument for replacing Bilic sooner rather than later and fans will have their eyes cast towards high-profile names in the industry that are available, following chopping and changing across Europe.
