West Ham’s start to the Premier League campaign has been a continuation of their consistency from last year, as the Hammers will have certainly hoped to have secured more than the seven points from seven games they have in the standings.
With just two wins, both of which came at the London Stadium, West Ham have a lot of work to do after the international break to save face but the weekend’s 1-0 victory over Swansea City, although undeserved, should boost confidence.
