West Ham face a crunch tie this weekend as they travel across London to face Crystal Palace, in a match that will have a huge impact at the bottom of the Premier League standings.
The Hammers sit above the relegation zone on only goal difference following last week’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton, whilst Palace were unable to build upon their shock victory over Chelsea in a 1-0 loss to Newcastle and remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
Defeat for the Hammers would surely cost Slaven Bilic his job and would leave West Ham just two points off the foot of the table but the club will be boosted by a fantastic result in midweek, where a battling performance saw the Hammers fight back from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2.
That Carabao Cup victory will have significantly raised spirits and may have given Bilic some selection choices to make too, as a number of players performed very well and deserve to stay in the side.
