West Ham have endured a difficult start to the season and their inconsistencies from their debut season at the London Stadium have continued into the new campaign, which is difficult to turn around while the board remains behind Slaven Bilic.
The Croatian boss flirted with an exit at the end of last season, before having support handed to him by the board, and enjoyed a successful summer with the eye-catching additions of Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic, Pablo Zabaleta and Javier Hernandez.
Despite those top-class additions, West Ham have struggled this season, winning just twice, and the Hammers have seen their additions struggle to make a direct impact- with Hernandez feeding on scraps, Arnautovic struggling for minutes and both Zabaleta and Hart looking past their best.
It can all change in a heartbeat though and West Ham need to be brave to make a decision that they should have done beforehand- getting rid of Bilic, before the damage becomes extremely detrimental. Yes, it’s dramatic but here’s why it needs to happen.
