Slaven Bilic’s future remains shrouded in doubt but the Croatian boss looks to have come away from two crucial clashes with the noose around his neck loosening, after reports stated he had two games to save his job after the recent defeat to Brighton.

The Hammers responded to that loss with a fantastic turnaround in the Carabao Cup, trailing Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at half-time but emerging 3-2 victors at the final whistle- setting up a quarter-final clash with Arsenal.

However, it was West Ham’s turn to let a lead slip away from them this weekend as they led Crystal Palace 2-0, before a late revival from the hosts at Selhurst Park saw the Eagles secure a 2-2 draw, that leaves the Hammers hovering above the relegation zone.
