West Ham have struggled to find consistency this season and will be eyeing a victory on Friday evening when they tackle Brighton, as the Hammers look to pull themselves away from the threat of relegation.

Slaven Bilic’s side have won just twice this season, most recently in the narrow victory over Swansea City prior to the international break, and will have a foul taste in their mouth after throwing away a lead late on last weekend to draw 1-1 with Burnley.

That result has raised the significance of West Ham’s clash with Burnley, a side they’re currently tied on points with, and the Hammers are aware of the fact that they currently find themselves just two-points clear of the relegation zone.

It’s very tight at the bottom-end of the table and three points will provide a massive boost to the club, especially as Slaven Bilic’s tenure remains under threat, but the team selection must be spot on tomorrow evening.

The Croatian boss faces a selection headache tomorrow with Andy Carroll suspended and Javier Hernandez facing a late fitness test after an injury picked up in training but these three players must surely start.
