West Ham have endured a difficult start to the season but their confidence levels will have been boosted significantly by their last-gasp victory against Swansea City last time out, which has eased the pressure upon manager Slaven Bilic.
There’s no denying that improvements need to be shown across the board if the Hammers are to improve upon last season, where they spent the majority of the campaign flirting with relegation, and huge strides need to be made if they are to fight for a spot amongst European football once again.
A problem for the Hammers is, that after seven games, it’s still not apparent what exactly West Ham’s best XI is and that causes a lot of problems for the club- specifically if it holds back key-players, which it has been, specifically in the case of Javier Hernandez.
It takes a lot of guts to chop and change, which makes it difficult for Bilic to make these decisions considering the problems he’s had at the club, but these three players simply must feature this weekend against Burnley.
