West Ham secured a much needed victory over Swansea City at the London Stadium on Saturday but getting three points from the match was a fortunate result, in an afternoon where the Hammers struggled to get going.
That has been the case for Slaven Bilic’s side ever since their move to the London Stadium last summer but their new home cannot be solely responsible for their struggles, as the Hammers have now had time to settle into their new surroundings.
Whilst fingers will be pointed at the board and Bilic’s management, the players also need to take some responsibility for the club’s struggles and the same issues have been present this season; with the Hammers having just seven points to their name.
After this week’s international break, West Ham really need to kick-on and they’ll be looking for vast improvements for a number of players in particular- including the three that we’ve identified here, who all need to pull their finger out.
