Reece Oxford remains as one of the most highly-rated young players within the West Ham set-up but he’s found first-team football difficult to come by since making his Premier League debut on the opening day of the 2015/16 season.

A starring performance in that victory at the Emirates Stadium significantly raised his profile but the England U20 defender, who helped his nation thrash Italy this week, has been on the fringes of the first-team ever since.

Oxford has not played for West Ham for more than a year, spending time last term on-loan at Reading, and his move to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach hasn’t brought around the opportunities he would have hoped- as he’s yet to feature.

The 18-year-old has been an unused substitute in all of Gladbach’s games so far this season, including a recent 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Borussia Dortmund, andĀ Sky SportsĀ reported last week that the teenager will return to West Ham.

That would leave Oxford’s immediate future up in the air but we’ve identified three options for the player and West Ham below. Let us know which option would be best!
