Andy Carroll could make his return to the Hammers side to face Huddersfield on Monday Night Football.
The 28 year-old has been out of action since suffering from a groin problem in April.
Winston Reid is expected to return. The vice-captain has recovered from a calf injury, but Manuel Lanzini, Edimilson Fernandes and Andre Ayew are all out.
Marko Arnautovic is also missing as he continues to serve his three match suspension.
As for the visitors, new signings Abdelhamid Sabiri and Florent Hadergjonaj could make their debuts for David Wagner’s side.
