Out of favour Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed he wants West Ham to move for him this winter after failing to establish himself in Arsene Wenger’s squad following his return to North London.

The Englishman spent last season on-loan with Bournemouth, however failed to impress both Eddie Howe and Arsene Wenger, and now finds himself surplus to requirements at the Emirates and without regular first team football.

West Ham, who were interested in signing the midfielder this summer, are thought to be the preferred destination for Wilshere as he looks to secure himself a move away from the Gunners in an attempt to revitalise his career.

Reports suggest Wilshere will use his limited game time, likely to come in both the Carabao Cup and Europa League, to try and impress his former boyhood club into making a move for him come January time.

The Hammers have had a difficult start to the new campaign, and Slaven Bilic will be again looking to bolster his options in midfield come Christmas, and Wilshere has been told he is free to listen to offers from any interested parties by Arsene Wenger.
