Serie A side Inter Milan are weighing up a surprise January move for West Ham forward Andre Ayew, reports suggest in Italy (via Football London), much to the delight of some of the Hammers fans.
The Ghana international joined West Ham in the summer of 2016 for a then club record fee of just over £20 million, however has since failed to make the impact in East London that he did at his previous club Swansea.
While he has 2 goals to his name already this year – something he did only 6 times in the entirety of the previous campaign – the forward has found himself down Slaven Bilic’s pecking order behind the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Michail Antonio, something which Italian’s Inter Milan could be ready to capitalise on.
Should the Serie A giants move for Ayew, it could be the Hammers cash in and try to re-coup some of their £20 million investment to be spent elsewhere in the coming transfer window.
The Claret and Blue army don’t seem too fussed if the Ghanian were to leave the London Stadium this winter, with some in-fact pleased to see the back of the former Swansea and Marseille star …
