West Ham and football fans alike have taken to opportunity to poke fun at West Ham captain Mark Noble after the midfielder’s recent clanger on Twitter.
Noble, who tweeted a photo with a fan alongside the caption “All the way from china #COYI”, was soon caught short as the fellow from the photograph took to correct him on his presumed nationality.

“I’m South Korean not Chinese???” replied Hammers fan lee sung-ho, much to Noble’s embarrassment who was quick to apologise for his misunderstanding.
“I’m sorry! Love to all my South Korean fans!” Noble responded.
His hasty response wasn’t enough to save him from the wrath of the onlooking Twitter trolls, who, just as quick as Noble could say 안녕하세요, jumped onto the thread to mock the West Ham star for his error.
Certainly a misunderstanding rather than anything more sinister, poor Mark will have to look on in horror – or perhaps jest – at some of the ensuing comments. Here are a collection of the best …
