West Ham have been given a huge boost with the news that Manuel Lanzini could return to action against Bolton Wanderers, reports Football London.

The Hammers welcome the Championship side to the London Stadium for the Carabao Cup third round clash, and the Argentine could make only his second appearance of the season in Claret and Blue after a spell on the sidelines with injury.

Lanzini has been sorely missed in Slaven Bilic’s side in what has been a disappointing start to the new campaign, and he will be welcome backed to the starting XI with open arms by the Croat and the West Ham fans.

The 24-year-old, formerly of River Plate and Al Jazira, has returned to full training with his team-mates, however will lack match fitness.

Slaven Bilic’s side successfully navigated their way past League Two’s Cheltenham Town in the second round of the competition last month, and the Croatian will be hoping for a similar result against Wanderers tomorrow night as the Hammers look to go three games unbeaten in all competitions, with the West Ham v Bolton betting odds showing Bilic’s side to be heavy favourites.
