West Ham fans have slammed Andy Carroll after his disappointing display against Tottenham at the weekend.
Carroll came on as an early substitute in just the 28th minute in place of the injured Michail Antonio; however, failed to make an impact on the game with instead the Hammers finding themselves 2-0 down within 10 minutes of his introduction.
Spurs emerged as 3-2 victors on the day – with late goals from Javier Hernandez and Cheikhou Kouyate making for a nervy last few moments – yet Carroll could not influence the game as he had done against Huddersfield at number of weeks back.
The Englishman was the Hammers star man when Slaven Bilic’s side secured their first victory of the season over the Terriers just over a fortnight ago, but his form has since dipped and he is still yet to register a goal this season since returning from injury.
The Claret and Blue army weren’t too pleased with the big man’s performance, and have taken to Twitter to say so …
