West Ham fans are growing increasingly frustrated as the rumours over a potential move to William Carvalho continue, despite the club failing to land the sought after midfielder this summer.
The Hammers and Carvalho’s current club Sporting Lisbon have been involved in a high profile spat over the past weeks over the failed move of the Portugal international to the London Stadium at the end of the August.
Sporting claim no move was made for the player, while West Ham beg to differ, leading to a huge fall out between the club’s owners and nasty exchange of words that has led to the involvement of lawyers.
However despite the ongoing argument in the background, reports suggest that William Carvalho remains keen on a switch to West Ham, and the East Londoners could make a move again for the midfielder as as January.
While fans are pleased that their club continue to be linked with a player of his calibre, the will he/won’t he saga alongside the owners tiff with the Portuguese club are arguably bringing in the club into disrepute.
