West Ham striker Javier Hernandez has called for consistency following the Hammers first win of the Premier League season on Monday night.

Slaven Bilic’s side emerged as 2-0 victors over Huddersfield Town at the London Stadium earlier in the week to secure their first three points of the Premier League season, and following the win, Hernandez says his side must replicate the same performance tomorrow when they travel to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom.

Speaking with whufc.com, Chichcarito said: “Now we have a very important away match in which we want to show that we can be consistent. That’s what we want now – to be very consistent. Not just in the results but also in our performances.”

The Hammers take on Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the Carabao Cup next week also in only their second game at home of the season, and Hernandez hopes the Hammers can continue their good form in the cup too.

“We managed to finally get a victory so we now want to go to West Brom, get three more points and then focus on the Cup. We want to win that game too and advance to the next round.”
