West Ham are keeping tabs on Bologna stars Simone Verdi and Adam Masina ahead of the January transfer window, reports TalkSPORT.

The Hammers invested heavily in the summer in a number of high profile names including Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez, however having had a difficult start to the season, Slaven Bilic will again go searching in the market for the answers to the club’s problems.

Verdi, a forward, and Masina, a full-back, are both said to have attracted interest from West Ham, with the East London club confident of landing the Serie A duo in the winter.

Verdi’s good form has recently seen in handed a new contract at the club that runs until 2022, while Masina is contracted with the club until 2019.

Slaven Bilic is understood to be keen to bolster his options after his side’s poor start to the season, and will is also likely to re-enter the market for midfielder William Carvalho after missing out of the Portugal star this summer.
