England forward Daniel Sturridge is increasingly likely to leave Anfield this January following a lack of regular football at Anfield, reports the Daily Star.

Sturridge is said to feel ‘unappreciated’ by manager Jurgen Klopp and could look to leave the club this winter in search of first team football, with both West Ham and Stoke keen on taking a gamble on the injury prone striker.

While the 28-year-old’s ability has rarely been questioned throughout his career, the former Chelsea and Manchester City forward has struggled with recurring injuries over the years, often leaving him short of playing time.

Sturridge has made just 25 starts over the past three seasons for the Reds in the Premier League, and despite returning to full fitness this season, is struggling to break into Liverpool’s starting XI, with Jurgen Klopp preferring Roberto Firmino in the No 9 role.

The striker’s future was thrown up in the air during the summer, however it looks likely he could finally be set to leave Merseyside after nearly 5 seasons with the Reds.
