West Ham have identified their top two targets to replace manager Slaven Bilic should the club part ways with the Croatian in the coming months.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel and Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri both top the shortlist of men touted to be the next man in charge of the London Stadium.

Bilic has come under heavy fire from West Ham fans in recent months following the club’s poor form, sparking wild speculation he is soon to be on his way out of East London.

The Croatian had a hugely successful first term in charge of the Hammers during the 2014/15 season, guiding his side to a club record high seventh place, but has since struggled to replicate that kind of form.

The Hammers finished 11th last season, but spent most of the campaign in a relegation dog fight, and now sit 18th in the table having won just 1 of their 6 Premier League games so far this season.

Newcastle’s Rafael Benitez is also thought to be a target for the East London club, although the Spaniard now looks set to sign a new long term deal at St James’ Park.
