West Ham have been given a huge boost ahead of their game against Swansea City this weekend with the news that Manuel Lanzini will be available for selection.
The Argentina international has suffered a number of injury setbacks over the past 6 months causing him to miss almost the whole of the Hammers’ pre-season tour of Europe as well as the start of the new season, but is now ready to make his full comeback this weekend.
Lanzini has been a sorely missed figure in what was been a poor start to the new campaign for Slaven Bilic’s side, who currently reside in the Premier League’s relegation zone six games into the season.
The creative midfielder will be welcomed with open arms into the West Ham side after enjoying a terrific last season in which he established himself as one of the club’s most important players.
Michail Antonio, who suffered a minor groin injury against Spurs on Sunday, is also expected to return.
