West Ham fans have called for their club to turn to former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel as a replacement for Slaven Bilic.

Tuchel has been eyed as a replacement for the Croatian following a difficult start to the season, however has turned down an approach from the club according to reports from The Mirror.

Tuchel won the German Cup with Dortmund last season however is now out of work after being replaced by Peter Bosz at the Westfalenstadion.

Pressure on Slaven Bilic has mounted in recent months after a poor start to the season, and while it has been a positive last fortnight or so for the club, Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to London rivals Tottenham has again thrown Bilic’s future up in the air with questions raised as to the credentials of the Croatian.

West Ham spent big in the summer to bring in a number of high profile signings, however such additions have yet to prove valuable with the Hammers sitting 18th after 6 games played in the Premier League.

After a poor last season too, many of the Claret and Blue army feel it could be time for Bilic to move on, and believe Tuchel could be the perfect man to replace him …
