West Ham striker Diafra Sakho is back in Slaven Bilic’s good books following scoring his second goal of the season.

The Senegalese doubled his account for the new campaign with his side’s second goal in a 3-0 win ovr Championship side Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round.

His strike comes only weeks after the striker was involved in a deadline day fiasco which saw him travel to Ligue 1 side Rennes to complete a medical in an attempt to force a move away from the London Stadium, only for the transfer to be blocked by the powers that be at West Ham.

Despite his late August change of heart however, Bilic says he is pleased with Sakho’s return and has no problems with the 27-year-old.

“Sakho’s attitude and mood is spot on. Really spot on. He’s very motivated in training. He looks really good. That’s why he’s playing for us. He is coming on.” said Bilic (via The Mirror).

“I do not have any complaints whatsoever. A few times I said that his attitude was not good or whatever, so I’m not lying, I’m not trying to hide things.

“But his determination and everything now is really good. He looks really good, he’s injury free, and he’s willing to train and play good for West Ham United.”
