West Ham fans have called for Carlo Ancelotti to be appointed as the new manager at the London Stadium after the Italian parts ways with Bayern Munich.

The former Chelsea boss parted company with the German champions earlier today following their heavy 3-0 defeat to PSG in the Champions League last night.

“Following an internal analysis in Munich on Thursday 28 September 2017, FC Bayern München have announced the club is to part company with head coach Carlo Ancelotti with immediate effect. Assistant coach Willy Sagnol will take charge of the team on an interim basis.” a club statement read. (via ESPN)

Talk over Ancelotti’s future had been rife in recent weeks following an hit-and-miss start to the new season, however many were shocked to see the ex-Real Madrid manager sacked after just over a season in charge.

West Ham fans, perhaps in jest, have seen an opportunity open in light of concerns over the future of current manager Slaven Bilic, with many calling for the board at the London Stadium to make a move to make the hugely successful Italian Bilic’s successor in East London …
