Fears over the future of West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini are continuing to grow following Neymar Jr’s world record move from Barcelona to the PSG.

The Brazilian international moved to the Ligue 1 side outfit late last week in a deal worth nearly £200 million, and the transfer is set to spark a chain of events that could see Lanzini leave the London Stadium.

Barcelona are understood to have eyed Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho as their number one target to replace Neymar, with recent reports suggesting an agreement between the two clubs has already been agreed.

Should, or perhaps when, Coutinho leaves Anfield, ESPN Brazil says Liverpool want Hammers star Manuel Lanzini to replace him.

The Argentina international was a stand-out player for Slaven Bilic’s side last season as he scored 8 times in 39 appearances in what was a difficult season for the Hammers.

Lanzini is yet to sign a contract extension at the London Stadium adding fuel to the fire over his future at the club, and with Liverpool set to receive a fee in the region of £90 million from Barca for Coutinho, could have the financial power to land the former River Plate youngster.
