West Ham are not looking to replace manager Slaven Bilic despite recent rumours over the safety of his job at the London Stadium, says sources at TalkSport.

Bilic has been with the East London club since the summer of 2015, and enjoyed a terrific first campaign in charge of the Hammers, guiding them to their best placed top flight finish in almost 15 years.

In his second season in charge however, the Croatian found his side involved in relegation battle for much of the year, and having had a tough pre-season and start to the Premier League season with back-to-back defeats, rumours have circulated that Bilic could be on borrowed time at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have lost both of their opening games of the new campaign, being humbled 4-0 by Manchester United in their opening fixture, before losing 3-2 to Mauricio Pellgerino’s Southampton this Saturday.

Despite the rumours of Bilic’s future however, sources at the club have called such whispers “total rubbish”, suggesting the Croat’s job at the London Stadium is still very much safe.
