West Ham United and Liverpool target Gabriel Barbosa is set to leave Inter Milan for Portugal this summer after the player’s agent revealed he is working on an agreement for the Brazil star to join Sporting Lisbon.

Barbosa – better known as ‘Gabigol’ – joined Inter Milan last summer for €30 million, however has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro after being handed limited game time. The Brazilian found the net just once throughout the whole campaign, and didn’t make a single start for Inter in Serie A.

Thought to be a target for both The Hammers and Liverpool amongst other Premier League clubs, Gabigol’s future now appears to lie in Portugal.

“We have received many different offers but Sporting Lisbon is now a priority.” said Barbosa’s agent Wagner Ribeiro in Portgueuse daily Record.

“We are speaking with president Bruno de Carvalho and we hope to find an agreement soon”.

Lisbon have already made a number of signings this summer, including securing Barcelona’s Jeremy Mathieu on a free transfer and Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao on loan.
