West Ham yesterday completed their fifth signing of the summer in the form of 18-year-old Sead Haksabanovic.
The teenager joined from Swedish side Halmstads BK for a fee believed to be in the region of £2.75 million, joining Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez on the ever growing list of Slaven Bilic’s new men.
Haksabanovic arrives at the London Stadium with a big reputation despite his young age, and is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects. The Montenegro international made his Halmstads debut at just 15 years of age – a record for the Allsvenskan – and has since made over 70 first team appearances.
The midfielder also made his international debut earlier this year in May in a 4-1 win over Armenia.
Known for his blistering pace, skill and eye for goal, while Haksabanovic is unlikely to walk straight into Slaven Bilic’s starting XI, he could be a player that may have a big impact in East London this coming year.
If these highlights are anything to go by, West Ham fans look like they are in for treat in the future …
