A London to London move is always bound to cause controversy, especially within the Premier League.

Sol Campbell caused absolute uproar when he signed from Tottenham to Arsenal in the early 2000’s. Ashley Cole did the same as he swapped Arsenal for Chelsea. Even former West Ham star Frank Lampard’s switch from East to West didn’t exactly go down too well, especially after the astronomical success he achieved with Chelsea in the years that followed.

However, such moves aren’t exactly a rarity with their being so many clubs in London.

West Ham are still not finished with their transfer business this summer despite having secured a number of high profile players, and may look to sign one or two more stars before the season begins in August.
