Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen has spent the last two seasons on loan with ‘Gladbach, and during that time he has seen himself rise from the realm of obscurity at Stamford Bridge, to one of the most sought after young defenders in Europe.
The Denmark international has improved exponentially ever since arriving in the Bundesliga, and now back at Chelsea he will be looking to make his mark in the Premier League. Although Oxford’s loan is only a one year deal, Christensen has proved how effective the German club are at developing young talent.
