Danilo Pereira of Porto has scored an impressive 10 goals in 61 appearances for the Liga NOS outfit during his two year spell with the club, attracting a number of suitors from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old stood in for Carvalho while suspended in Portugal’s Euro 2016 semi-final victory over Wales, producing an excellent display to help his country breeze past Chris Coleman’s side with a 2-0 victory. Should the Hammers pursue Danilo however, they are likely to have to break to bank also, with Porto ramping the midfielder’s release clause up to an astonishing £51 million.
