Christian Dailly Hammers News

Three stars who must feature against Cheltenham Town tonight, do you agree?

Michail Antonio

Hammers fans were thrilled to see Antonio back in action for the first time in months at the weekend against Southampton, despite being on the end of a 3-2 defeat. Out since April, Antonio – last season’s Hammer of the Year – has been a sorely missed figure in Bilic’s midfield.

Adding energy and quality in the final third that they lack without him, the England international will be looking to continue his recovery and should be given the chance to do so tonight at Whaddon Road. At the weekend he looked electric and it was his shot that led to the Hammers opening goal. More of where that came from please, Michail.
