Pedro Obiang
I tipped Obiang to be a key man against United last week. That, unfortunately, couldn’t have been further from the truth. At fault for United’s opener after being pounced upon by the much-more-alive Nemanja Matic, Obiang wasn’t at the races for much of the ninety minutes.
Despite putting in some good challenges in midfield, the Spaniard struggled to create anything going forward, and was overshadowed by youngster Declan Rice after he entered the field on the hour mark. Obiang must be more useful with the ball at his feet if the Hammers are to take anything from Southampton at the weekend.
