West Ham’s new signing Sead Haksabanovic is expected to be given a chance with the first team almost instantly after completing his £2.7 million move from Halmstads BK.

The Evening Standard reports that the Montenegro star is due to train with Slaven Bilic’s squad as soon as tomorrow, and indication of the club’s high hopes for the 18-year-old star.

Haksabanovic became the Hammers fifth signing the summer yesterday after his move to the London Stadium, and despite his young age, could play a role in the first team this season. The teenager impressed last season for Halmstads in the Swedish top flight, finding the net 12 times in all competitions, catching the eye with his electric pace and silky dribbling skills.

The midfielder made his first-team debut for Halmstads at the age of 15 and has already played more than 70 times for the Swedish first division club. He was also handed his interntional debut with Montenegro back in May during a 4-1 victory over Albania in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.
