West Ham yesterday completed the signing of 18-year-old Sead Haksabanovic.

Joining from Swedish side Halmstads BK for a fee believed to be in the region of £2.75 million, the Montenegro star becomes Slaven Bilic’s fifth signing of the summer so far after having completed deals for Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.

Haksabanovic – the youngest ever Allsvenskan debutant at the age of just 15 – has made over 70 first team appearances for Halmstads despite his only 18 years, and was also handed his international debut with Montenegro in May this year during a 4-1 victory over Albania.

Known for his blistering pace, skill and eye for goal, Haksabanovic scored an impressive 12 times last season in all compeitions for the Swedish outfit, attracting attention from a number of clubs across Europe.
