West Ham stars have weighed in (no pun intended) with their predictions for Saturday night’s super-bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

The fight – the first of it’s type in history – sees the retired boxing legend go head-to-head with the forme two-weight UFC Champion in a potential 12 round clash, and has been dubbed as one of the biggest sporting events of all time.

Not to miss out, the West Ham players are sure to be keeping a keen eye on the event after their trip to Newcastle on Saturday.

Most of Slaven Bilic’s men had gone for the 40-year-old Mayweather to win the fight on points, while a few think McGregor could surprise the sporting world and take down ‘Money’ in the early rounds.

Amongst those backing Mayweather are Angelo Ogbonna, Mark Noble and Winston Reid, while the likes of Aaron Cresswell fancy the Irishman to come out on top.

Joe Hart says: “It will either go early, and one man will win, or it will go 12 rounds and the other man will win.”
