West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to wish Sofiane Feghouli good luck in the next chapter of his career after the Algeria international completed his long awaited move to Galatasaray.

After struggling with injuries and bad form, Feghouli joins the Super Lig giants in a £4 million deal only a year after joining the Hammers on a free transfer from Valencia.

The 27-year-old winger failed to make his mark at the London Stadium, scoring only 4 goals in what was a disappointing solitary season in East London.

Feghouli’s switch to The Lions comes after months of speculation over his probable departure, and fans of the Turkish outfit were frustrated at the deal not going through sooner. However, in securing their man, Feghouli now joins a number of high profile players to make the move to Istanbul this summer including Bafetimbi Gomis and Younes Belhanda.

Hammers fans, some of whom were disappointed to see the star go, have taken to social media to wave him goodbye …
