West Ham United ended the German leg of their pre-season tour of Europe with a disappointing 3-3 against German fifth tier side Altona 93.

The Hammers went down only 5 minutes into the game thanks to a goal from defender Nick Brisevac, however were behind for not much more than a minute as Toni Martinez’s smart finish levelled the score.

Slaven Bilic’s side went behind again just before half time, and there woes for worsened only three minutes later as the returning Winston Reid saw red after a second yellow card for dissent.

Andre Ayew again levelled the score to make it 2-2, only for Altona to take the lead for a third time courtesy of some hap hazard defending, finished off by Darius StodeA calamitous own goal by keeper Joshua Du Preez saved the Hammers skin.

While there were positives from the result, including the sight of £16 million man Javier Hernandez in a West Ham shirt for the first time, fans were less than happy with the result, and took to Twitter to share their thoughts …
