West Ham United face competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers in their pursuit of Burnley star Andre Gray, with the Championship side reportedly readying an huge £20 million bid for the striker.

The Mirror reports Wolves are ready to test Burnley’s reluctance to sell the highly sought after forward, with club determined to keep hold of a man they deem vital to their success next season, despite him refusing to sign a new contract at Turf Moor.

Gray, 26, finished as the Claret’s top scorer last season with 10 goals in all competitions, and his performances have attracted attention from a host of top flight suitors, including West Ham, who are looking to bolster their options up front.
