Sofiane Feghouli is on the verge of completing his long awaited €4.5 million move to Turkish side Galatasaray, reports Turkish Football.
The Algerian joined West Ham last summer on a free transfer form Valencia last summer, but has since struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium amidst poor forms and injury problems.
Feghouli made only 14 starts in all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s side last season, finding the net 4 times and creating 3 assists for his team-mates.
With West Ham having signed forwards Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez this summer however, the 27-year-old’s short tenure at the club already seems to be coming to an end.
The Turkish giants have already been busy this summer, adding Younes Belhanda and Bafetimbi Gomis to their roster amongst others, and will hope to complete the signing of Feghouli in the coming days.
West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Feghouli’s departure. Safe to say most (again, most) aren’t too bothered about the Algeria international’s imminent departure ….
Our net spend is now £14.5m. Will probably go down to about £5m if Feghouli and Snodgrass are sold.
Surely more money to be spent then?
