Four of West Ham’s five summer signings are set to make their West Ham debut this Sunday against Manchester United, including former Red Devils striker Javier Hernandez.
Slaven Bilic’s side travel to Old Trafford at the weekend for their opening fixture of the Premier League season, and although the Croatian will be without a number of his key players including Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio, Bilic says he expects Chicharito, Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta and Marko Arnautovic all to make their debut in Claret and Blue on Sunday.
Only Sead Haksabanovic of the club’s new additions will not play a role, with the Montenegro international instead lines-up for Terry Westley’s U23s against Everton tonight as he is eased into life in East London.
All four of the previously mentioned new boys played a significant role in the club’s pre-season tour of Europe, with Marko Arnautovic particularly impressing by finding the net on his West Ham debut against former club Werder Bremen.
