Stoke City midfielder Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request whilst on pre-season with the Potters, says Sports Mole.
The Austria international has been linked with a move to West Ham over the previous weeks, reportedly having a £10 million bid already rejected by Stoke for the player, however a transfer request could now open the door for the Hammers to make their move again for the former Inter Milan star.
Slaven Bilic is reportedly an admirer of the Austrian and is keen to bring him to the London Stadium ahead of the new season. The Austrian has scored 26 times in his four year tenure at the bet365 stadium, and has shown some moment of brilliance for the Potters since moving from Werder Bremen back in 2013.
Hammers fans seem to have taken to the new of the midfielder’s transfer request well, with many calling for their club to secure the 28-year-old before the season starts in August …
Imagine a front four of Antonio, Lanzini, Arnautovic and Hernandez.
I think that's quite a possibility too.
