The Mirror reports that West Ham are ready to make a £15 million bid for Burnley striker Andre Gray.

West Ham are desperate to reinforce their front line this summer and have been linked with a number of high profile players including Olivier Giroud and Raul Jimenez, however after missing out on Gray in January, the Hammers are reportedly ready to bid again for the Englishman.

Gray is currently involved in a contract stand off with Burnley, wanting a big increase on his current deal which just has one year to run, leaving he door open for potential suitors to swoop in.

A real rags to riches footballing tale, Gray has spent the majority of his career in the realm of non-league with the likes of Telford United and Hinckley United, however it was his spell at Luton Town that really caught the eye. Scoring 57 times in 111 appearances for the club, he earned a move to Championship side Brentford in the summer of 2014, before another impressive season saw him move to Turf Moor for club record £6 million.

Gray scored 10 goals for Burnley in his debut Premier League season, including a memorable hat-trick against Sunderland in late December that saw him become the first ever player for The Clarets to score three goals in one game in the Premier League.
