May now seems a distant memory in the minds of most football fans.
That being said, it probably only seems like yesterday for the fans of Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull City. All three were relegated from the Premier League and face another season in the country’s ‘toughest division’ – The Championship.
Not only will leaving the Premier League mean a drop in the standard of football, but it also means a hefty dent in the respective club’s finances, meaning they are likely to have to sell off some of their best assets in order to stay afloat.
The trio of clubs by no means had good campaigns last year, however that does mean there aren’t (or in some cases weren’t) some talented players amongst their ranks.
