Three reasons West Ham still need another striker this summer

Struggling Strikers

The first and most blatant reason for West Ham needing another frontman alongside Javier Hernandez is the lack of form of their current crop. While Andy Carroll cannot be faulted for his efforts, his record with injury and his goalscoring numbers can.

Diafra Sakho may be the opposite, where his goalscoring record isn’t too bad, but his endeavour on the pitch has long been a frustration for West Ham fans. You don’t replace two lacklustre strikers with only one man. It must be two for two.
