Jose Mourinho has praised West Ham for their business in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers have so far completed the signings of both Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart from Manchester City (the latter being a one season loan deal), and are expected to seal deals for both Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic in the coming days.

Mourinho’s Manchester United host West Ham on the opening day of the new Premier League season, and the Portuguese revealed he is aware of the threat Slaven Bilic’s side will pose, saying: “I am thinking about West Ham for the first match of the Premier League. They have got Joe Hart, Chicharito and Arnautovic. It looks like they are playing to win the Premier League too.”

While Manchester United have signed two big names in their own right in both Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku, Mourinho believes his club need more additions due to business of other Premier League clubs including West Ham.

“We need a bit more when you see the other teams in the Premier League, like Man City, Liverpool and West Ham, the way they get players, good players, important players.” said Mourinho, before adding: “The teams are fantastic in the market. I am waiting for a bit more.”
