West Ham have been linked with almost every player, and more specifically, striker under the sun this transfer window, yet the club are still to make a move for any.
It was a difficult season for the Hammers last season in front of goal with the club’s top scorer being right wing back Michail Antonio who found the net an impressive 9 times. However with all of the club’s strikers finding the net a combined (and dismal) 13 times, the need for a new frontman can not be ignored.
While rumours will be rumours, it seems the ‘mill’ for West Ham has been all but burned out, with fans now desperate for the club to invest, especially with pre-season having begun last week.
From Olivier Giroud to Javier Hernandez, and from Kelechi Iheanacho to Michy Batshayui, the list goes on and on, extending to almost all corners of the planet. Given the choice however, who would you rather be leading the line in Claret and Blue next season?
