Javier Hernandez is to undergo in London on Monday ahead of his £16 million move to West Ham United, reports The Sun.

The former Manchester United agreed to join the Hammers earlier this week and has agreed personal terms with the East London club, leaving only a medical standing in his way of a return to the Premier League.

Chicharito left England’s top flight in the summer of 2015 after being deemed surplus to requirements at United by then manager Louis Van Gaal and has since enjoyed two terrific seasons in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.

Since his move, the Mexico striker has scored 39 times in 76 appearances for the German outfit, but will now be playing his football again in England next season when he joins the Hammers.

Hernandez will become to club’s highest ever paid player once the move goes through, with the 29-year-old set to earn around £140,000 per week.
