Hammer of the Year Michail Antonio has revealed things are going well with his recovery and that he is feeling good ahead of the start of the new Premier League season next month.

Antonio suffered a hamstring injury which required surgery at the end of the previous campaign, but is now back and training with his team-mates in Austria as part of the club’s pre-season tour of Europe.

While the Englishman is not yet to make an appearance for Slaven Bilic’s side this summer, he has revealed on whufc.com that the tour is going well.

“Everything is going well and things are on track really. I’m out here [in Austria] working on the strength, and from there running and working on the technique.” said Antonio, before adding: “I’m going to keep working hard. It’s a month to the start of the season, so it’s not that far away. I’ll just keep moving forward and doing well.”

West Ham take on Fulham tonight in their second game of pre-season.
